ATO Architects received a request to tender for architectural services for the development of an iconic experience Regional branch office for Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited building along 47 Opebi Road. With the map of Africa hewn out of its rock- like façade, our design intention for this Branch Office of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Opebi was to highlight the financial strength of Standard Bank (their parent company) as Africa’s biggest lender in assets.

When built, it will be a commercial building on three 3 floors with a gross floor area of a little over 800 square meters. The building will accommodate a client service area, space for back-office staffs, space for co-tenants, Date recovery site, private lounges & meeting rooms. Because Stanbic IBTC and indeed the Standard Bank group operate an open plan spatial policy, all staff occupied spaces will be open plan, with provision for breakaway meeting rooms and a private/executive lounge space on the ground or first floor.
