Interior Refit For Stanbic IBTC VI lagos

ATO Architects revamps Stanbic IBTC HQ with bespoke interiors and lighting

The firm was invited in mid 2017 to submit design and cost proposals for the refurbishment of two floors in different buildings of the Stanbic IBTC Bank headquarters complex in Victoria Island, Lagos. Work commenced in September 2017. The project called for the revamp of the Bank’s interior design style across the spectrum, from wall and floor finishes to furniture and lighting. Our design proposal created a bright and open feel across the spaces, using light to enhance the feeling of spaciousness.
Artificial light was used to achieve required daylighting with dramatic pieces deployed to create focal points of interest in some spaces. We created formal meeting spaces and informal huddle spaces and breakout areas. The furniture was designed by the firm, creating bespoke pieces that optimized the limited space for team and personal storage. The project was executed in two tightly coordinated phases to allow the relocation of staff from the planned work areas. The phases were completed in January and June 2018 respectively.
