The early years of the practice coincided with the early boom of the financial services sector of the Nigerian Economy. The firm got some projects out of this emerging market, which allowed it to put its signature on the Victoria Island axis. One of such projects was the Comet Finance building on Oyin Jolayemi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. The building built
on 5 levels reflected the design trend of its time with its curved corners and rounded stair hall. This building is also now occupied by Access Bank Plc.
