CBN Governor's Office Ikoyi

ATO Architects designs and oversees the supervision of the refurbishment of the CBN Governor’s Residence, Lagos.

ATO Architects Limited was commissioned by the Central Bank of Nigeria to undertake the total exterior and interior refit and refurbishment of the Governor’s Residence in Ikoyi, Lagos. The existing residence is a two-floor duplex comprising nine bedrooms, living and dining areas, an ante room, kitchen, store and outdoor terrace, with supporting facilities including a guest chalet, mosque, carports, generator house, tennis court and outdoor relaxation areas.

The proposal reorganises the internal spaces to create a more functional and contemporary residence. The ground floor accommodates an enlarged ante room, main lounge, entertainment lounge, private lounge with bar, improved guest suite with walk-in closet and en-suite facilities, study, dining area and an upgraded kitchen with new cabinetry and marble worktops.

The first floor provides a family sitting area, private lounge with external deck, additional lounges and en-suite bedrooms, together with a master suite comprising a bedroom, study, walk-in closet and bathroom. The refurbishment also includes new doors, windows, ceilings, upgraded finishes and sanitary fittings, replacement carports and roofing, and the addition of a swimming pool within the landscaped grounds.
